Lucica Hot

Lucica is an historic settlement with 30 old stone houses is a protected historic site. Originally, it was a fisherman settlement and buildings were used as storage places for fishing equipment and fish.

It is situated very close to Lastovo, the main settlement on the island. Lucica is located next to the sea. You can come to Lucica by an asphalt road or, if you are walking, you can use the old 400 m long pathway through the woods. Mediterranean architecture here is very well preserved. Any kind of new construction is illegal in Lucica, therefore all buildings are adapted according to original Mediterranean architecture. Many buildings are more than a few centuries old. For visitors, Lucica is a shadowy, peaceful, and above all enjoyable place, with pristine vegetation marked by old trees. It is turned toward Korcula and the bay is big enough just for small boats. Therefore, you can enjoy the beauty of Lucica waterfront and swimming in the sea without being disturbed by noisy powerboats, pollution or crowds.
