Mljet island

Soline Green island of Mljet, situated in the southern part of the Adriatic sea, is well known for its rich cultural and natural heritage, dense Mediterranean vegetation and transparent and clear sea with great variety of sea life.

Polace (read: polache) is perhaps  the most ancient village on the island, and is the largest and most sheltered harbour not only on Mljet but elswhere. It is surrounded by 4 islands. It's one of the most favourite places visited by sail and other boats.

Govedari (read: govejari) is a hilly village on Island of Mljet that has just under two hundred permanent residents. Govedari dates from the beginning of 18th century when first people started to settle at the location, building their houses and shelters.
