Lokva Rogoznica

Lokva Rogoznica in Croatia is a small, beautiful place half way from Split to Makarska. Omis, the old pirate town, is only 7 km away. There you can enjoy canoeing and kayaking on Cetina river, mountain climbing and paragliding.

Near the apartment there are several restaurants, a post office, and bakery. Medjugorje - place of pilgrimage to the Virgin Mary 75 km far away. Lokva Rogoznica is small lively place, inhabited since 1231, at the foot of the stone heights in the territory of the Gorica settlement. Already since 1235, Lokva Rogoznica has had social life, which is evidenced by the Lokva Code-Statute of the Omiska Rogoznica Municipality ( composed in Latin on 5th April, 1235 ).
