Trpanj, in sunniest Croatia region - Dalmatia, is situated on the north coast of Peljesac peninsula. Long time ago, just another fishermen’s village in Peljesac, nowadays Trpanj represents one of south Croatia and Dalmatia favorites holiday destinations.

It can be starting point for visiting Mljet National Park on island Mljet, unique Korcula town on island Korcula and Dubrovnik, which is just 90 minutes by car from Trpanj. If visitor prefers more easy paced vacations, than all necessary elements are just here, in Trpanj: rich seafood with dominance of sea shells from local oysters sea farms, unspoiled nature surrounding mostly pebble beaches, old stone houses telling the story of other times when Peljesac were important producer and exporter of wine and olive oil.

Trpanj in Croatia can offer cute apartments owned by local inhabitants, experienced in tourism accommodation. Many of them actively produces wine and olive oil and it can be asked on arrival. Peljesac and Trpanj climate is very special for this part of Croatia. During summer days the sky is very clear allowing to sun to show its Mediterranean strength, but during nights, dense vegetation and stone walls of Peljesac hills produce lower temperatures than in other parts of Dalmatia, giving to visitors and local inhabitants pleasant evenings after warm days.
