Primosten town

Primosten town

Primosten is a harmony of Sun, Sea and Stone. Sailors called it a "dry point" because of the long-lasting dry periods, while its inhabitants, and visitors, know it as Primosten. It is set upon a little island that five centuries ago the inhabitants linked to the land by a causeway so that they could go off to their fields the more easily.
Surrounded by seven little islands, Primosten is a special gift from nature that leaves no one indifferent. What a parsimonious nature did not give, the industrious people created themselves, and made Primosten into one of the most attractive places to visit in the whole of the Adriatic. The stone houses, churches and narrow lanes are a perfect harmony of the past and the present. From a fishing village, Primosten has developed into this part of the Adriatic's heaven for holiday-makers. The charm that the town gives off is hard to resist. The little streets, so Mediterranean in feel, invite you to experience the warmth of people and the land, at least for a moment.
