Vrboska, a picturesque parish on island Hvar, is hiding away at the far end of a sheltered bay surrounded by pines. The settlement grew up as the fifteen century. The bay of Vrboska is mentioned in the commune Statute of Hvar back in 1331. A row of houses along the narrow canal, the banks of which are linked by tiny bridges, gives one quite a surprizz. The Reneissance-baroque houses in the “Padva”and the narrow streets of the “Pjaca” area, old churches and houses on one side and variety of villas in the Pine wood at the other side – blending with the sunshine and sea - grant the place an exquisite charm and an intimate warmth.
