Stoncica lighthouse

Stoncica lighthouse

StonĨica (Stontchitza) horn lighthouse was built in 1865, at the northeastern tip of the island of Vis and at an altitude of 38 m. The light lighthouse is extremely important in the approach from the open sea, and night voyage along the eastern coast of the island and excess channel. The lighthouse is perhaps the last lighthouse on the Adriatic with a live crew. To visit this amazing building inserted in such a difficult location for construction, approach with car to Stoncica beach and than by foot in direction to south-east, get to the lighthouse.
