Necujam

Necujam on island Solta is the bay whose beauties were also recognized by great people like Marko Marulic and Petar Hektorovic. Even the Roman emperor Diocletian was attracted to Necujam. He maintained his fishery there (even today we can see mosaics).
But here we are not talking about an old village like Grohote or Maslinica, but about a modern tourist village which attracts every year more and more Croatian and foreign guests. In the summertime this is the center of tourism on the island. Discotheque Cuvita is very popular for night fun.
